Sin

    - Sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men. Romans 5:12

    - There is no one righteous, not even one. Romans 3:10

    - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

    - Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. Romans 8:5-8

Church

    - And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25

    - They continued steadily learning the teaching of the apostles, and joined in their fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayer. Acts 2:42

    - For where two or three are gathered in My name, I am in the midst of them. Matthew 18:20

Prayer

    - Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ. Philippians 4:6-7

    - And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it. John 14:13,14

    - This is the assurance we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14

    - I desire that the men pray everywhere. 1 Tim. 2:8

Christian Growth

    - As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow.1 Peter 2:2

    - They continued steadily learning the teaching of the apostles, and joined in their fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayer. Acts 2:42

    - Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law. Psalm 119:18

    - Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4

    - All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

    - In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some ignoble. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work. 2 Timothy 3:20-21

Forgiveness

    - She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. Matthew 1:21

    - But God demonstrates his own love for us in this; While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

    - All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead with transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:3-4

    - Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:7

Sanctity of Human Life

    - For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb, I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made, your works are wonderful, I know full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalms 139:13-16

Spiritual Gifts

Understand the Source and Purpose of the Gifts

    - Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant. There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one of the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 1 Corinthians 12:1,4-7

Recognize and Appreciate the Diversity of the Gifts

    - To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines. 1 Corinthians 12:8-11

Use your gifts

- We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully. Romans 12:6-8
